Day ONE Residents are the clients we serve such as yourself when you sign up. All members of the Day One Society are residents. The term was coined by our founder because he believed finance is an ecosystem and not just another rhelm of the many complicated adulthood phenomena. On the surface there isn't much to a ROSCA/Stokvel, however when you scratch the surface you realise that there is so much to it and most importantly there are many ways to get more out of your hard earned savings
Anyone above the age of 18 can become a Resident and the sign up process is effortless. To get started, create a Day ONE account. The account is free of charge. You will need a working email adress to sign up. The account gives you access to your dashboard and from there you can join stokvels, maintain your acccount and even recruit others. Parents and guardians can open a stokvel account for a child and that account will only be accessible to the child once the child turns 18. People of all sexes and backgrounds are invited and full anonymity can be utilised across all the stokvels you partake in.

We also urge Residents to also help where applicable in the sign up process of the referred friend so that they can enjoy the best that the Day One Society has to offer.

As an SME, you have to undergo our mandatory Learning Management System that includes accredited courses as well as well CPD courses. REs(Regulatory Examinations) such as RE5 are avaiable through our platform via our integration with Growth In Motion Academy.
All courses are start at 12 months duration and can go up to 72 months. You, as an SME, have to be Fit and Proper, ,FAIS Compliant and ,FSCA accredited. This is to adhere to finance industry standards.

We as Day ONE dedicated to the betterment of our society and we believe it is our social responsibility to make literacy available and keep growth opportunites open to the public. This is why we do not require an RE5 from when you sign to become an SME, however, we will require you to attain it as it no only helps you academically but it also protects you as well as your clientele.

HURU criminal checks can be done at your local Postnet office, once obtained kindly forward to us your results. Please note that without the HURU criminal check, your application will not be considered and a police clearance will not suffice.
