are residents. The term was coined by our founder because he

isn't much to a ROSCA/Stokvel, however when you scratch the
surface you realise that there is so much to it and most
importantly there are many ways to get more out of your hard

Becoming A Resident
Anyone above the age of 18 can become a Resident and the
sign up process is effortless. To get started, create a Day
ONE account. The account is free of charge. You will need a
working email adress to sign up. The account gives you
access to your dashboard and from there you can join
stokvels, maintain your acccount and even recruit others.
Parents and guardians can open a stokvel account for a child
and that account will only be accessible to the child once
the child turns 18. People of all sexes and backgrounds are
invited and full anonymity can be utilised across all the
stokvels you partake in.
Can I Tell A Friend?

Friends, Family, Co-Workers, and Colleagues.
We appreciate word of mouth as we know it speaks volumes about
our organisation's progress and customer satisfaction rate. We
also urge Residents to also help where applicable in the sign

Weekly Interval
When signing up for the weekly stokvel, you the resident,
should strive to make payments available every week without
fail. You sign up for the weekly Stokvel by clicking on
"continue". A working email and whatsapp number are
necessary for sign up. The sign up process only has a few
questions for security and identification purposes. After
successful sign up you will be placed under the care of an
SME and will then be added to a designated whatsapp
group/Discord server/Telegram group. Our policy only allows
for 5 members per group and collateral commenting is kept to
a minimum. Please note that you can be a part of as many
stokvels as you would like, provided that you can afford to
do so.
Weekly Interval
Please note that by continuing you will be charged a one
time fee of R310.99 for registration.
Registration is only open to persons over the age of 18
Not everyone earns weekly, on the 15th or at the end of the
month. That is why we have this fortnightly stokvel
specifically for you. Signing up is as simple as clicking
the continue button, then proceeding to the payment page. An
email as well as a whatsapp number are necessary. You will
also be required to fill in some details(non-personal) that
help us in building your user profile, you can easily edit
your profile after sign up. Feel free to sign up for as many
sokvels as you like however please note that they are
subject affordability.

In South Africa it has come to be expected that those who
earn on the 15th are employees of the public sector however
we know there are many other private sector employees who
also get paid on the 15th, some earn their basic salary at
the end of the month then earn their OT and commission on
the 15th. Regardless though, we have you covered. In fact
you can subscribe to all the stokvels even if you earn on
the 15th of every month. In other words you can sign up for
the weekly, fortnightly or the MONTHLY stokvel. In order to

Each stokvel consists of only 5 members, this means there cannot
be more than 5 people in one stokvel at any given time. We as Day
One register and allocate residents to a stokvel, we do the admin

ROSCA stands for Rotating Savings and Credit Association, ASCA
stands for Accumulating Savings and Credit Association. A rotating
savings and credit association (ROSCA) is a group of individuals
who together act as an informal financial institution. A ROSCA
uses a common fund to which individuals contribute a set amount on
a regular basis (usually monthly), while one member withdraws the
