We have come to accepting that Day ONE io is best understood when looked at as a stokvel and we are perfectly fine with that. All stokvels are connected by one thing(apart from money) and that is social appeal. Infact, if it weren't for this social appeal then stokvels would be as desolate as banks. Day ONE io can not possibly exist without people. It is the people who put money in, and it is also the people who get money out.

When people come together they can achieve anything(or so it is said). That is where Day ONE io comes in, it allows you to circumvent most of the redtape around "greatness" and epic adventures. In extreme cases you can even look at it as finance on demand. Kindly stick around as we elaborate further on our people first approach and why this might be helpful to you and your cause.

United By A Common Goal

Stokvels typically have people with a common goal banding together to achieve it. This is particularly important because on this side of the valley Money Talks. So you can be rest assured that we only consider paying-users and not those not prepared to pay. So that should explain our R310.90 membership fee.

There is also no actual limit to the number of stokvels you can create or join, we do however monitor your progress across all stokvels in terms of your payment behaviours. This is purely done for security and prudency purposes. Your stokvels can even extend countrywide and across provinces.

Freedom Of Association

Day ONE io does not dictate who can create a stokvel with who. You have total freedom to create stokvels with whomever you'd like as long as they accept your invitation and create a Day ONE account. Each stokvel you create on your phone is recorded onto our databases in real time, allowing you to have more autonomy without interference from us.

You can invite anyone, as long as they have a functional email and the invite can be sent from right within the app. You can also add new members, remove existing members, assign roles and more using your app. Depending on your set up, you can arrange physical meetings or virtual meetings with your members or even communicate via our forums. A Gated Community

When we set out to develop Day ONE io we had simplicity in mind, most of the functions and inner workings of our app are presumably a no-brainer. This is why we have dedicated material on many aspects of our app and we also stay true to the conventional stokvel model.

We take the above bullet points very seriously, the sooner you understand that Day ONE is not an investment company the better. Stokvels in all their various shapes and sizes can be creatively applied to real life situations to achieve miraculous feats so long as they are done properly and diligently. Day ONE Is NOT A Bank

There should be no misconception, Day ONE io is not a bank. It is not a lender either. We are just the third party platform that makes things much easier for you to get credit and deposit savings.

Always remember that:

• Banks charge you bank charges
• Banks charge you interest on your loan
• Without a solid credit score, you most probably won't get approved for credit
• As an Entrepreneur, getting credit is even harder
• Without a solid credit score plus a valid driver's licens, you will not be approved for a car loan
• Most people have a poor credit score, and this means if you do eventually get considered for credit, it will be for an unsecured loan
• Unsecured loans come with higher interest rates

We can not in good faith go on a rant about how Day ONE io is objectively better than banks or the banking sector. Even we use banks to accept and make payments, and so we exclusively made our points based on the fact that if you don't have the most glamorous of credit scores and credit history then considering Day ONE might be in your best interest.

Credit ON-DEMAND

Stokvels are extra beautiful because you can request credit today and get it today with no fuss and with zero interest. Credit that is more than R20 000 is subject to taxes from SARS and subject to FIC checks, however, the amount would still reflect in your bank account within 24hours of your request.

The amount you are eligible is entirely dependant on your stokvels and the credit will not be coming from Day ONE io but instead would be issued by your respective stokvel facilitated by Day ONE. For context; if you are in a ROSCA stokvel that is R500 per month and there are 6 of you, your max credit is only R2000 from that stokvel.

To increase your credit you can:

• Join stokvels that have higher amounts
• Join stokvels that have more members
• Join ASCA stokvels that have higher pots
• Improve your porfolio by paying on time
• Once Day ONE recieves all agreements, consents and acknowledgements it will then execute the purchase

There are many ways to mix and match stokvels to achieve your goals. ASCAs and ROSCAs offer different benefits and each stokvel might have certain steps they requre from their members first before they get credit.
